Mark Kane
President and Founder
Energy Medical Systems, LLC. was established in 2009 by Mark Kane, where he serves as founder and president. Mark has been in the medical device business for over 20 years working with many notable and successful companies. He has contributed to many patents in the field. Prior to founding EMS, Mark worked as a Senior Electrical/Systems Engineer at Solta Medical and as a Senior Project Manager at Aragon Surgical, Inc.
Mark oversees the creative direction, design solutions, and business development at EMS. His knowledge of medical design and development and his dedication to providing personalized service keeps EMS at the forefront of end-to-end design solutions.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
Bob has over 20 years of experience managing the product development process, with a focus on medical devices at COMPASS Product Design, Pleasanton, CA, and Energy Medical Systems, San Jose, CA.
Both client and internal teams depend on Bob’s friendly manner and meticulous attention to detail. He also is well versed both in the design and documentation of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks, the industry standard in 3D design and engineering software.
Prior to his time at COMPASS, Bob was Program Manager at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, in Oakland, CA.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration and Management Science and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
